MARIA MONTESSORI, S LIFE
Childhood.
Maria Montessori was born in charavalle in 1870 in Italy.
The Montessori family moved for several times when Maria was young.
When Maria was five year old they went to live in Rome , Maria won a first price in the first grade it was for good behaviour and then she won another price for sewing and needlework.
Maria desire to help children was so strong, however, that in 1906 she gave up both her university chair and her medical practice to work with a group of sixty young children of working parents in the San Lorenzo district of Rome. It was there that she founded the first Children's House. What ultimately became the Montessori Method of education developed there, based upon Montessori's scientific observations of these children's almost effortless ability to absorb knowledge from their surroundings, as well as their tireless interest in manipulating materials. Every piece of equipment, every exercise, every method Montessori developed was based on what she observed children to do naturally, by themselves, unassisted by adults.

later was accepted into medical school at the University of Rome even against their parents Maria college to study medicine, his father was a soldier by profession, his father did not agree because at that time a woman only could aspire to teacher by some ideals of that time.
Maria graduated with honors in Italy as the first woman doctor in 1896.

Participated in two conferences for women and considered working with children with mental problems.
Besides this Maria was the author of a very effective method to help children with learning problems or difficulties.
